To have this pill means to save the life of your loved one from the brink of death. Come closer. Look upon the liquid of this elixir, how it shines in the light. Does it not dazzle? It catches the light of your eyes, the radiance of your skin so perfectly. You look yet so young- Oh, your wife? It is? Madam, I’m afraid you suffer from a terrible affliction. Look upon that mole on the back of your hand. See its size? I have witnessed this curse spread throughout the body and take lives within a matter of months. Do not cry; be strong for your lover! Young madam, this is the only paste that will save you. It strings to the touch, and will be quite painful but you will certainly live enough years to see your grandchildren. Do not touch it! I am one of the only two people in the world knowledgeable in its correct application on the festering growth. It is made of a dangerous plant from a faraway country. That jewel around your neck shall just barely be enough of a passage fee for me to obtain more. I shall return to your town in a few months and check on your progress. I wish you a long and happy life my dear. Farewell!”
o Chell, the skitty voice in his head: “…Yay yay meow meow meow money for me money for free lots of good things for meow to eat! Fluffy… warm… sleep after evil lady and nice man get boo-boos healed. Zzzzzz.”
o Mitchell enjoys saving people’s lives just as much as he enjoys ruining a few enemies’ lives by tricking them of all their coinage.
o Sometimes, Mitchell fears that he will truly eschew medical knowledge for the big haul, and any amount of money no matter how much he loves it could not be enough to repair his pride. He forces himself to help even those he hates the most, although they better pay him nearly all they have, or that life-saving tonic just might have to be prepared in the wrong order, transforming it into a more… unpleasant experience than usually necessary.

• HISTORY
• Losing his mother soon after his birth, Mitchell was given lots of attention from the women of the town he was born in, who pitied him, and encouraged their children to play with him. He learned how to manipulate the other children from an early age, although his tutor encouraged him to always influence for the good of many. As Mitchell Roshade lived with his widowed father and their Pokémon he learned how to heal and help people from all walks of life. As his apprenticeship neared its end he found himself content enough to settle down with his own honest practice. Before he could, however, the townspeople he had almost grown to love discovered his horrible secret. He was too naïve at that time to realize what he had felt was even wrong. The townspeople began to treat him and his father very poorly despite their continued efforts to help. He distanced himself from his father, who eventually remarried and regained his reputation as a good doctor. Finally, Mitchell ran away from home with only his loyal skitty, Chell as a companion. Well, sort of loyal. He may have accidentally brought a bit of her favorite treats with him.
• Mitchell found himself truly hungry and uncomfortable for the first time in his life. He had never realized how well off he and his father were. They were needed in the town as healers then, but Mitchell had not yet learned his father’s most important secrets. He resorted to stealing and had to often protect his loot from other thieves. Stealing became riskier as he grew older, as the law noticed him more as a strange nomadic man rather than a wayward child. He starved for a while, and finally Chell grew sick and he was too weak to heal her. They used the last of their strength as two beings for a final chance, and the resulting person decided to learn how to become a doctor. He gathered harmless plants at first, concocting fake medicines to earn money and learn more about people’s ailments as well as the secrets of the doctors who tried real methods of healing alongside his medicine.

o Dr. Roshade prides himself in healing humans and Gijinka. Although he didn’t exactly get around to studying it, he is willing to try to heal Pokémon for free. Because he is still at an experimental stage with healing Pokémon, the results may vary past the point that he intends it. XD
